I’m Cobey, a Salesforce Solution Architect, Certified Slack Consultant, self-proclaimed Notion Architect, and Senior Delivery Principle at the top Salesforce consulting firm in the United States.
In three years, I went from knowing nothing about Salesforce to leading technical teams and running projects worth over $20,000,000.
I'm here to show you how I did it and give you the tools I've built so you and your team can achieve your goals faster. This is one of them.

This template includes a main home page, called the Salesforce HQ.
This knowledge center contains a lot of great resources that I use often as well as two in-line databases for your knowledge:
Salesforce Resources are notes about a specific topic. I urge you to use these like small, Atomic Notes so that you can link them throughout your Salesforce Second Brain.
The Certification Notebook contains your certification notes and progress. Think of it as a collection of your notes specific to one certification. This notebook is what I have used for the past few years to collect a serious amount of Salesforce information in my second brain — and to pass a few certifications.
Each database has a default template that I’ve designed. I walk through these in the video below.
I have also included my basic documentation system for Salesforce orgs. This is a great system for establishing a high-quality set of technical documents for your Salesforce environment. This system includes:
I have included a challenge in this template: Four weeks of subjects to research and add to your second brain. This will give you a variety of new notes to reference to later, and it will get you into the mode of inputting new information into your Salesforce second brain.
Already have notes on the suggested topic? Perfect, just pick one on your own and get to learning. You should spend about 15 minutes each day researching and documenting these topics. Make sure to link and relate them if possible.
Using this template is a breeze. There are two buttons to drive new record creation, and the way then notes are structured entices you to link information for what I call “Purposeful Information Exploration.”
Purposeful information exploration is the how I study and learn new concepts. This allows me to navigate subjects using links within documents, something that Notion makes easy with their backlink function.
I have included a few different Salesforce notes and resources from my second brain. I hope you find them helpful.
To explain in further detail, I went ahead and made a video covering exactly how I use this template every day.
